BRC Adults Only Camp

Bungendore Riding Club is excited to again bring you two (2) days of fun and learning new skills in exciting disciplines, plus some of the old favourites on 28 and 29 November 2026!

Whether you're looking to build confidence, refine your skills, or prepare for competition, this camp is the perfect opportunity to train Dressage, Show Jumping, Cross-Country and Working Equitation.

Camp is a fantastic way for you and your horse to experience a few different equestrian activitities in a safe and fun environment.

Lessons will be run in small groups of approximately 4-6 riders, ensuring personalised coaching and expert guidance and an opportunity to make new friends.

There will be time between lessons for you to change gear (if you wish) and if you want to bring 2 horses you may. (No extra charge)

Fine print

  • Horse welfare is paramount – please ensure your horse/pony is fit enough for 2 days of intensive riding and that they are up-to-date with worming and their feet are in good condition.
  • You are responsible for bringing enough food/hay for your horse for 2 days.
  • The committee and instructors have the right to ask a rider to dismount if their horse is found to be unsafe, unfit, lame or not suitable for the environment.
  • If a rider falls, it is the instructor's and BRC committee decision as to whether the rider may remount.

Tack and equipment

  • Riders are encouraged to bring a neck strap or monkey strap/similar for the front of the saddle to aid with balance.
  • The current standard of cross-country vest must be worn when participating in cross-country. If you do not own one, you may borrow one from someone else on site, if they are not in your group and it fits.
  • Sun smart clothing is encouraged (long sleeved, collar shirts, etc).
  • Please ensure your tack is in good working order.
  • Helmets (EA Approved) must be worn when lunging or riding a horse.

CODE OF CONDUCT, SAFETY and INSURANCE

Please ensure that your gear/equipment/horse/pony is in good safe working order.

If you are riding, you will be required to wear a tagged riding helmet approved by Equestrian Australia (EA) and appropriate clothing and footwear.

BRC is an EA affiliated club and, as such, is covered by Public Liability Insurance.

EA members are also covered under insurance whilst riding and training their horses. However, being a BRC member only does not mean that you are automatically covered under insurance. You should consider if holding your own personal accident or loss of income insurance is right for you if you are not also an EA member.

A scratching fee will apply. Refunds are only available if there is a rider on the waitlist or on receipt of a veterinary or medical certificate prior to the event.
